Ecorun India began operating in November, 2008. The inaugural run was a solo run by Dr. George R. Thomas, from Kanyakumari to the Sree Mookambika Temple in Kollur, Karnataka. The distance, 1030 kms, was covered in 40 days. See Ecorun 2008. There was no run in 2009. There was a run in Feb, 2010. See Ecorun 201.
